How single-photo 3D works

Depth Anything V2, a compact depth-estimation model, runs on your device and predicts a depth map for the photo. Each frame of the animation is rendered by shifting pixels according to their depth relative to the focus distance, so the subject stays steady while the background drifts — the parallax effect your eyes read as 3D.

• Circle — a gentle orbit, great for portraits and products.
• Side to side — the classic parallax sway for landscapes.
• Zoom in — a slow push towards the subject.
• Dolly zoom — the dramatic “vertigo” effect.
• Rise up — the camera lifts over mountains and cities.

Best photos and exports
