How the AI composes a crop

A segmentation model finds the main subject and its focal point (biased towards the top of the subject — faces, heads, product tops). For the shape you choose, the editor finds the largest crop that still fits the subject with a margin, then positions it so the focal point sits on a rule-of-thirds or golden-ratio intersection — or dead centre. You can drag the frame to fine-tune before applying.
