Retouch faces — or hide them for privacy.
Face landmark AI maps 478 points on each face, so smoothing can skip eyes, brows and lips — and privacy blur can find every face for you.

Natural skin smoothing
The editor uses Google's MediaPipe Face Landmarker — a small (about 4 MB) model that runs in your browser — to outline each face and locate the eyes, eyebrows and lips. It then applies an edge-preserving filter only to skin, feathered at the edges, so blemishes and uneven texture soften while features stay crisp. A single slider controls how strong it is; around 30–50% usually looks natural.
Blur every face for privacy
Posting photos from a school event, a party or a busy street? Blur all faces finds each detected face and covers it with a strong blur or pixelation. Always check the result before sharing: very small, side-on or partly hidden faces can be missed, and you can cover anything left with the Draw & Censor brush. Our privacy blurring guide explains why strong blur matters.
Private by design
Faces are about as personal as data gets. Here, face detection happens on your device — the photo and the landmarks never leave your browser, and nothing is stored after you close the tab.

FAQ
Face Retouch questions
Does skin smoothing make faces look fake?
Not at moderate settings. Smoothing is applied only to skin and blended with the original texture, keeping eyes, brows and lips sharp. Lower the slider for a subtler look.
Will it find every face?
It finds most faces that are reasonably large and facing the camera. Very small, turned-away or partly hidden faces can be missed, so check before sharing.
Is face detection done on a server?
No. The face model runs in your browser, so your photo and face data never leave your device.
Can I pixelate faces instead of blurring?
Yes. Choose Pixelate as the style before tapping Blur all faces.
