Cropping without losing quality

Cropping only removes pixels outside the box you select — it never resamples or recompresses the pixels you keep, so there's no quality loss within the cropped area (beyond whatever compression your export format applies). Drag the box to reposition it, drag a corner handle to resize, or lock a common aspect ratio (square, 4:3, 16:9, and their portrait equivalents) for consistent framing across multiple photos.
