Resizing without distortion

Enter an exact width or height and, with the 🔗 lock enabled (the default), the other dimension updates automatically to keep your image's original proportions — so your photo never comes out stretched or squashed. Unlock it if you specifically need a non-proportional size. The percentage buttons are a quick way to scale down for a smaller file without typing exact numbers.

Resizing only changes pixel dimensions, not the image's crop or content — for that, see our Image Cropper. Everything runs locally in your browser via the Canvas API; your photo is never uploaded.
