How this works

Unlike a full AI background remover, isolating a signature is a much simpler problem: the background is (almost always) a single plain, light color, and the ink is much darker. This tool measures each pixel's brightness and makes anything above your threshold transparent, leaving just the ink — with a soft edge so strokes stay smooth instead of jagged.

For best results, photograph or scan the signature on plain white or light paper with even lighting and no shadows.
